WADE, Katherine Marie, B.N., R.N.– Passed peacefully away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, N.S., aged 45 years. Formerly of St. John’s, N.L., she was the only daughter of John F. Wade, (Alta.) and the late Angela (Grainger) Taylor, (N.S.) Kathy is survived by her cherished children, Morgan Marie McCarthy and Alexander McCarthy, and her step-father David Taylor, all residing in N.S. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her numerous relatives and friends in Newfoundland, especially her Aunt Dottie Wade, whom she considered her guardian angel. In accordance with Kathy’s wishes there was no visitation, cremation to follow with inurnment later. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home in Berwick, N.S. A memorial service will be held in Avondale, N.L. at a date to be announced. Donations in Kathy’s memory can be made to the Lupus Society of Canada or the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada.
