Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on November 7, 2009, David Frederick Carew, aged 50 years. Predeceased by his father William. Leaving to mourn his loving son and daughter, Matthew and Melanie. Survived also by his mother Geraldine Carew; sister Verna Burkinshaw (David); brother Ken (Marguerite); niece Meghan Carew; nephews: Mark Carew and James Burkinshaw; friends and co-workers in Churchill Falls. Cremation has taken place. At David’s request there will be a private memorial service at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
