New Glasgow - Aldon Sterling Feltmate, age 87, of Yorke St., New Glasgow, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born December 22, 1923 in Lochaber, he was the son of the late Melvin S. and Muriel E. (Battersby) Feltmate. He was a retired Chartered Accountant having owned his own business in Scarborough, Ontario.
He is survived by a sister: Emma Feltmate, New Glasgow; half-sister: Isabel (Feltmate) Bowman, Calgary; niece: Linda Bowman, Calgary; several cousins.
Visitation from 1-2 pm Tuesday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, where funeral service will follow at 2 pm Tuesday, with Pastors Bruce and Marlene Morrison officiating.
