BELLIVEAU, MARIE JEANNE (JEANNETTE) - 1937 - 2011 - The passing of Marie Jeanne (Jeannette) Belliveau, of Résidence J. Régis LeBlanc, Dieppe, NB, wife of the late Gerard Antoine Belliveau (1972) occurred on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, at the Moncton Hospital. Born on June 9th, 1937 in Richibucto, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Emma (née: Richard) Cormier. Mrs. Belliveau will be remembered dearly for her willingness to lend a helping hand to the many people that were in her life over the years. She will be greatly missed by the Christian Food Bank, where she volunteered for 20 years. Marie Jeanne took great pride in either doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren or making puzzles and planning events with her many friends in the community where she lived. She is survived by five children: Laura (Mike) Brine of Grande-Digue, Gerry (Annette) of Scoudouc, Patricia (Claude) Bacon of Howe Island, ON, Louise Belliveau (Francoise) of Dieppe and Michel (Tamelia) of Dieppe; nine grandchildren: Chris, Luc, Chelsey, Edmond, Brennan, Diego, Stephanie, Nina and Daniel; two brothers: André (Dorina) Cormier and Edmond Cormier, both of Shediac and by two sisters: Marie (Elie) Fougere and Yvonne Bourque, both of Shediac. She was predeceased by one sister, Alice.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 at 1 pm. Interment in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
