It is with great sadness that the families of Annie Elizabeth Hartshorne announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Center, in Norris Pt, N.L., on Friday, December 2nd, 2011, at the age of 89 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Beryl (Churchill Reid) of Deer Lake, N.L., Richard (Phyllis) Francis of Oshawa, Ontario, and Marilyn (Rick Meadows) of Whitby, Ontario, her daughter in law; Lucy Francis of Trout River, N.L., her 9 grandchildren; Karen, Winnie, Sherry, Richard (Dick), Lillian, Peter, Richard, Tamara, & Andrew, her 11 great grandchildren; Cynthia, Daniel, Dayton, Shelby, Stephen, Colton, Kayla, Wandalea, Christopher, Taya, & Deja, her 3 great great grandchildren; Abby, Alleigh, & Dawson, her 3 brothers; Willis (Elaine) Major, Jim (Loretta) Major, & Terry (Muriel) Major, her 2 sisters; Sabrina (Joe Casey), & Audrey (Darren Fortune), her 3 sisters in law; Lillian Major, Marie, & Linda Major, her brother in law; Eldred Hulan, mother was predeceased by her son; Otto Francis, her brothers; Wallace (Alma), George, Reuben, Roland, & Ithamar, her sisters; Dorothy (George), Madelyn, & Marie, her parents; Jacob & Margaret Major. The family will be receiving family and friends today Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L., from the hours of 7 – 9 pm, and then continue on Sunday, December 4th, 2011, from the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm, at the Church of The Good Shepherd in Norris Pt, N.L., where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, December 5th, 2011, at 2:pm with the Rev: Jean Brenton Hickman, officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, N.L.
