It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Elford announce his passing on Monday, December 5th, 2011 at The Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Shawn (Dave), Toronto, ON, Connie (Blaine) Gillam, Corner Brook and Frank Jr. (Julie), Sault St. Marie, ON; three precious grandchildren: Courtney Gillam, Dylan and Kyle Elford; mother: Mrs. Josephine Elford; two special aunts: Mary Atkson and Eileen Willams; brothers and sister: Tom (Marion) Elford, Mary Elford and Raymond (Nadene) Elford; brothers and sisters-in law: Donna (Rod) Park and Linda (Fred) Bell, Reg (Sheila), Doug (Joan), Bernard (Ted) and Brian (Elizabeth); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rita just 12 days earlier on November 22nd, 2011; father, Raymond Elford; niece: Kristina Marie Elford; mother and father-in-law: Raymond and Annie Bennett; sisters-in-law: Valerie and Elizabeth and brother-in-law Rex. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Parish in Curling with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
