1950 - 2009

We regret to announce the passing of Torbjorn Arne Kristoffersen of Kamloops on November 5, 2009 at 59 years of age.

He will be missed by his children, June Kristoffersen of Sudbury, Ontario and John Kristoffersen of Calgary, Alberta; his siblings Kurt Kristoffersen and Lill Kristoffersen; his former wife, Linda Kristoffersen, his mother, Hjordis Kristoffersen and all his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Konrad Kristoffersen and his nephew, Dean Dennis.

Torby was born in Leknes I Lofofen, Norway on July 13, 1950. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 with his family.

Torb accomplished much during his life including taking schooling for computers and accounting classes. He worked as a computer technician in Vancouver for years. He was also a night auditor in Kamloops for many years, ending his career at Coast Sundance Lodge. If you needed help with anything, or your taxes, you could count on him.

Special thanks to the nurses on 6 South, RIH and all the doctors and nurses who made sure he was comfortable during his stay.

We miss you and love you. Rest in peace Torby. You suffered much. Love, Mom.
