Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, St. John’s on Sunday, November 8, 2009, Shirley F. Case of Paradise, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents Albert and Carrie Gibbons; baby daughter Christine; step-mother Alice Gibbons. Leaving to mourn husband Elwood; three sisters: Sandra (Clarence) Earle and family, Brampton, Ont., Elvina (Wallace) Goodyear and family, Lumsden and Dale Gibbons, Clarenville; sisters-in-law: Naomi Case and Clarrie Case, both of Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A family interment to be held on Tuesday, November 10 at Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
