Edward Campbell

Edward Robert Campbell, 59, of Pleasant Street, Stellarton, passed away December 7, 2011 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Leo Vincent and Matilda Jean (Sample) Campbell.
Eddy was a life long resident of Stellarton. As a young man, he helped his father repair radios and televisions. Eddy worked for Highland Audio Design for almost all of his working life. He enjoyed working with Old English Motorbikes and was involved in racing them at one time. Eddy enjoyed gardening and looked forward to Canada Day celebrations.
He is survived by a sister Kennia ”Kay” (Chester) Williams, Gloucester, Ont; a brother William T. Campbell, PEI; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He will be sadly missed by special friends, Jean Nicholson, Glennis Smith, Andrew Smith, Yvonne Wilkinson and her daughter Megan, his boss and friend AJ Mathias and his co-workers: Ryan Donaldson, Aaron MacMillan and Jason Laughlin at Highland Audio Design.
He was predeceased by a brother Vincent and special friend John Smith.
His remains will rest in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday from Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton with Rev. John Roy presiding.
Burial will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
Donations in memory of Edward may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Pictou County SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
