Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, of Jack Meredith of Milton and formerly of Charlottetown, age 89 years.
Veteran of the Second World War. Born in Heywood, England, he came to P.E.I. with the Royal Air Force in 1939.
Husband of Muriel and the late Bernice Meredith. Dear father of Gary (Diane), and Lana (John) Irwin. Stepfather of Heather Keir (Ormie Hopkins). Grandfather of Doug, Tracey, Jodi, Kelly, Dylan and David. Great-grandfather of Michelle, Tyler Jack, Riley, Griffin, Katie, Bayleigh and Max. Brother of Harry Meredith.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
