My world isn’t such a happy place without you here with me,
I wish everyday to have you back with me.

I dream of you every night that we are together again,

And how to hold my tears until I’m alone,
People say time will make it easier,
But the only thing time does is make me miss you more.

God has a pretty garden that He brought you home to see,
A place with only sunshine that is not ready yet for me,
But I know one day I’ll meet you and with my arms open wide,
I’ll tell you that I love you with gratitude and pride.
