Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, on December 12, 2011, Sister Mary Elizabeth Jamieson, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her father John Jamieson, mother Elizabeth, brothers: Edward, Alex, John, Andrew, and nephew Bill. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy; her sister, Elizabeth Pike; brother Walter; her nieces and nephews, and special cousin, Helen Conway. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John's, on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday until 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road, with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
