We, the family of the late Edith (Keough) Hawco, would like to thank all those wonderful relatives, friends, coworkers and neighbors, who extended their love, support and friendship to our family during our loss; especially those who travelled long distances. Most especially, a huge thank you to four angels; Janet, Cheryl, Catherine (all sisters- in law) and granddaughter Jennifer, for going above and beyond. To all those who prepared and sent food, flowers, memorial donations, mass cards, sympathy cards, emails, and visited the funeral home, we are sincerely grateful. To the doctors, nurses and staff of the CB REG.Hospital, many thanks. To the staff, volunteers and clientele of the Northside Community Guest Home (which she loved dearly), a sincere gratitude for the love and care she received. Thank you to the Ladies Aux. and the parent branch of the RCL BR.12, for the lovely service and fond farewell. Thank you to Rev. Laura MacCue, Rev. Karen Quirk, Rev. Roz MacLeod and Rev. Carl Fraser for celebrating such a beautiful and personal service. Your love, support, and kindness will never be forgotten. A sincere thank you to the Parish of the Resurrection (St.George’s) choir, and Peter Fraser who did such a wonderful job. To Blaise (grandson), thank you; Nan would have been so proud to feel the love and what she meant to us, by your words. To the readers; Michelle and Edith (granddaughters), Audrey (step-daughter), to the pallbearers, grandsons; Craig, Gavin, Blasé, Michael, Corey, Brett and step-grandson Danny, and to the ACW ladies who provided/served lunch; many thanks. We are truly grateful to Wayne Weatherbee, Terry Nichols, and the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for their professionalism and compassion. To everyone who through any act of compassion, helped to ease our sorrow, your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered and cherished.
