Passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, December 12th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Lavern Hoddinott at the age of 67. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 49 years, Harvey, children: Jenny Styles (Glen), Hawkes Bay, Harvey (Susan) Hoddinott, Corner Brook, Rhonda (John Neary) Hoddinott, St John’s, Lisa (Shawn) Wells, St Anthony, Deborah (Darren) Compton, Deer Lake, grandchildren: Kelly, Samantha, Emily, Emma, Christina, Jae, Sara, Cassy, Kate, Christian, one great grandson Zachary, sisters and brothers: Lawrence, Rita, Mona, Yvonne, Leila, Barry, Madonna, Dennis, sisters and brothers-in-law: Vivian, Judy, Pleman, Ralph, Marion, Loretta and Dulcie, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Hubert Patey, mother Caroline Styles, sister Edith, mother and father-in-law Maude and William Hoddinott, sister-in-law Sue and brothers-in-law Clyde and Gordon. Friends and Family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake today from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, with Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment to follow at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
