Port au Port East

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert (Bob) Gaudon of Port au Port East announce his sudden passing at home on December 12, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Elaine Gaudon (Duffenais), father, Wilson Gaudon and his brother Melvin Gaudon. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Bertha Gaudon of Port au Port East, his only son Jason Gaudon, his wife Barbara, grandson Tristen, Jason’s step-children, Greg and Brittney and Jason’s mother Nancy Gaudon all of Edmonton, Alberta. He also leaves to mourn his sister Edna Morrison (Pat) of Florida, sister Louise White (Barry), brother, Urban Gaudon (Irene), sister Kay Gaudon Lidstone (Paul) and sister-in-law, Judy Gaudon all of Port au Port East as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends especially Marie Hedderson his caregiver. Family and friends may pay their respects at Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East on Thursday, December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
