Joan passed away November 10, 2009 at the age of 77.
Born December 12, 1931 to Edison and Anne Stewart of Thorburn.
Predeceased by parents, Edison and Anne Stewart; husband of 51 years, Raymond Arnold; brothers, Robert and Raymond Stewart; sisters, Irene Stewart, Francis Mac Kenzie and infant sister, Pearl Stewart; son, Donald Wayne Arnold; grandson, Troy Dunlap and granddaughter, Heidi Arnold.
Joan will lovingly be remembered by her sister, Lois MacDonald (Ronnie); brother, Donald Stewart (Jean); children: Doug (Bernedette) Arnold, Stellarton; Rene (Herman) Dunlap, Trenton; John (Georgina) Arnold, Mac Lellans Brook; Lois (Paul) Livingston, PEI; Francie Arnold Mosher (Phillip) Hutchinson, Stellarton; Betty Anderson, Coalburn; Kathy (Charles) Kelland, Greenwood; Mike (Susie) Arnold, BC; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and many, many special friends.
We will miss Mom’s joy and the love she brought us each day. She had a captivating smile and bright warm eyes and left a lasting impression with every one that met her. Our mother took time every day to study God’s word and it was important to her to share that with others. Her strong hope in Jehovah’s promises brought her great joy and comfort.
