HAZEL ROWENA NEWMAN
1951 – 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Newman announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on December 5, 2011 at the age of 60. Predeceased by parents, Newton & Evangeline. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Ford; son Fred (Chelsea) of Long Beach, NL.; and daughter Evangeline (Claude King) of Lloydminster, SK. Also leaving to mourn brothers – Hayward (Melvina) of Long Island, Raymond (Gladys) of Nova Scotia, Wilson (Pearl) of Long Island, Gloss (Janet) of Nova Scotia; sisters – Effie Short of Long Island and Josie (Wilburn Bromley) of Long Island; grandchildren – Jennifer, April, Tammy, Crystal and Jennifer as well as many more relatives and friends. Pastor Fred Randell conducted the funeral service from the Apostolic Faith Church in South Brook on December 8, 2011. Interment was at the Apostolic Faith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hayward Slade, Wilson Slade, Terry Croucher, James Boyles, Pat Bromley and Ken Bromley. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
