of Carbonear who passed away at the Interfaith Citizens Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, Mrs. Goodwin was 90 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: son Gordon (Susan) Goodwin, Carbonear, N.L.; daughter Norma Goodwin, Ontario; grandchildren: Gary, Aaron, Amanda, Howie, Michael and Derek, a number of great-grandchildren; sisters: Lottie Baggs, Labrador City, Ann Crowell, Ottawa, Ont.; brother Gordon (Marjorie) Peckham, New Waterford, N.S., and a large number of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at The Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. Visitation hours at Slade’s Funeral Home are Thursday 7 to 9:30 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m. to noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday 10:30 a.m. to noon.
