SMITH, DOROTHY MILLER - Dorothy M. Smith, 82, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday December 13, 2011. Born in Woodstock, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Miller) Hall. Dorothy was a former co-owner of Smith’s Sundries in Campbellton (23 years). She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, Dominion Life Member of Atlantic Baptist Women (Laura Lee Bustin WMS), the Adult Bible Class, the Young At Heart and was a graduate of Victoria Public Hospital School of Nursing in Fredericton. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Harry E. Smith; son, Eric (Mabel) of Toronto; daughters, Rev. Sandra Sutherland (Rev. Gordon) of Mount Pearl, NL and Janet Demond (Rev. Allan) of Blackburn North, Australia; precious grandchildren, Alicia, Rebecca, Heidi, Andrew and Laura; sister, Margaret Ann Rutledge of Toronto, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Edward and sister, Shirley.
