ELLISON, MAY - May Ellison, 94, of Riverview, with loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Born in Bromley, Kent, England, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emily Jane (Smith) Knott. May was a War Bride and came to Canada in 1947. She was a talented dressmaker and loved knitting for her family and friends. May was a member of St. Philip's Anglican Church, sang in the choir, was a member of the women's group and senior's fellowship. She enjoyed gardening, doing jig-saw puzzles, crosswords, a good game of cards, travelling and socializing with her family and friends. May will be sadly missed by her daughter, Rosemary Smith, Moncton; two sons, John (Deborah), Moncton; and Douglas (Mildred), Slave Lake, AB; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister-in-law Nina Baird, Halifax and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, E. Lloyd Ellison (1980), a brother Charles and sister Emily.

Celebration of Life Service for May to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11 a.m., Pastor Liz Wall officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
