The death occurred peacefully at Souris Hospital on Thursday, December 15, 2011 of Roy Ernest Coffin, age 83 years. Dear husband of Shirley (Townshend). Father of Blair (deceased) (Connie), Sharon (Mike) McIntosh and Karon (Rob) Bliss. Dear Poppy of Jeannie, Jolene, Evan, Candice, Jennifer, Aaron and Ava, brother of Hazel (Eddie) Cook, brother in law to Henry Townshend and sister in law to Doris Coffin. Predeceased by parents; Geddie and Alice Coffin of Fortune, P.E.I.; brothers and sisters; Rita Higginbotham, Hilda Cook, Frances Townshend, Alva, Harry, Dot Townshend, Norma Hughes and Ross. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Masonic service to follow at 9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Monday afternoon, December 19, 2011 at the Kingsboro Baptist Church in Kingsboro for funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Union Cemetery, Souris West.
