MANNING, Rita Carmel (Denty) July 16, 1927 - Nov. 13, 2009 — Formerly of Little Hr. West, Placentia Bay. Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Care Centre in the presence of her loving niece Anne Flynn and nurse Kay Jones. Predeceased by her husband Frank (1994), parents Archibald and Monica Denty, sister Alberta and brother-in-law Jack Manning. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her brother Ambrose (Hilda); nieces Anne Flynn, Juanita Denty, Elaine (Terry) Burke, Colleen Denty; and nephew Paul Denty; grand-nieces and nephews Sheila (John) Barry, Stephanie Flynn, Tommy Norman, Shawn (Shelly) Flynn, Mark (Laurie) Flynn; great-grandnieces and nephews Emily Flynn, Evan Denty, Colin and Ryan Burke; sisters-in-law Mary Power, Freshwater and Marion Manning, Burin, together with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia with visitation on Saturday 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Monday, November 16 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia with interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
