On Friday, December 16th, 2011, Mrs. Dorothy Ethel “Dot” Clermont passed away at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Clermont was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 3rd, 1924. She came to B.C. with her husband Louis in 1979, and for the following ten years, both worked at the Kamloops Greyhound Terminal.
In 1989, the Clermont’s retired to Blind Bay, and in 1995 returned to Kamloops where they made their home until their passing.
Predeceased by her loving husband Louis in May of 1999, and their daughter Connie, Mrs. Clermont is survived by her sons, Garry (Bev) of Calgary, Richard of Winnipeg, Ronald of Kamloops and Timothy (Kim) of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Garth (Louise), Vic (Gail) and Ralph (Elva).
Prayers will be recited in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Peter H. Nguyen, celebrant.
Interment will follow in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery.
