It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Jean announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Sunday, December 18th, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn his two sons: Kevin (Luzia) in Edmonton, Alberta, Daniel (Mary) in Stephenville, one daughter Kathleen Jean (Tom) in Stephenville, two brothers: Albert (Fleuvette) in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Guy (Violette Lise Dugauy) in Gatineau, three sisters: Jill Thibault in Rosemère, Quebec, Jacqueline (Èmile) LeBlance in Ottawa, Ontario, RéJane (Normand) Clavet in Edmunston, NB, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Clare and his son Brendan. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 20th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 21st at 2:30 p.m from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street. Cremation to follow funeral. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his memory to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
