At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 13, 2009, of Lewis Blue of Charlottetown, age 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Blue (nee Ross). Lewis is survived by his sisters Wanda Gillis (Lloyd) and Colena Birt, special friend Gertie McGuigan, brother-in-law Gordon Ross (Sally) stepchildren Pam Doucette (Garry), Debbie Bragg (John), Lloyd Joseph (Donna), Alan Joseph (Marlene) and Robbie Joseph and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Rachel Blue, sisters Marion Hughes and Annie May Belle and his brothers Malcolm, Raymond, Waldo, Doug and John Blue. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Monday, November 16, 7-9 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home, on Tuesday, November 17, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Clyde River Baptist Cemetery.
