It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mabel Bennett announce her passing on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her special daughter: Michelle McLeod (Todd); special grandchildren: Joshua and Jessica; brothers: Jim Frampton (Faye), Fred Frampton, Lloyd Frampton (Vi), Raymond Frampton (Betty); sisters-in-law: Mabel (Alphonse) Aucoin and Dorothy Murley; special niece: Joan Tooke and special nephew Rod Mitchell; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Joshua Bennett, 1987; sisters: Mary Jane Maroun, Catherine Mitchell and Emma O’Connell; brothers: Ronald Frampton and his wife Anne, and Michael Frampton; sister-in-law: Myrtle Bennett; parents Joseph and Mary Frampton. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Sunday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Curling. Reverend Clayton Parsons officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Memorial United Church Memorial Fund.
