Passed peacefully away at The Glenbrook Lodge on Sunday, November 15, 2009, Alice Knee aged 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Garland (Sept. 25, 1981). Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Blanche (Nick French), son Aubrey (Edna), seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her cousin Lilly Short as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Glenbrook Lodge. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. Michael and all Angels Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road.
