BRIMSACLE, ORIN "BOB" R. M. - After a short yet courageous battle with cancer, Orin R. M. Brimsacle "Bob" passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 18, 2011. Orin was born on February 21, 1937. Orin was the first child of the late Melvin James Brimsacle and his wife, the late Catherine Annie Elizabeth Smearer Brimsacle. He will forever be remembered by his sister Shirley (Gerry Baird), his brother Don (Marlene Anderson), his nieces and nephews along with countless friends who were blessed to know him. Orin spent many years living in Toronto and was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. Upon his return to New Brunswick, he was an active member of Saint John Bosco Church, Dalhousie, NB. Orin touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his sense of humor all the way to the end.
The funeral mass will be held at St. John Bosco Church Dalhousie on Thursday at 11:00 am. Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, 421 Victoria Street Dalhousie, Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm, 7pm to 9pm and Thursday from 9:30am until time of funeral.
