Braeshore - Brian Douglas Jenkins. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Douglas Jenkins, age 48 of Braeshore, N.S. Brian was the son of Aulden and Renie (McInnis) Jenkins of Trenton, N.S. He is survived by his parents, the love of his life Barb (Laybolt); stepdaughter Crystal; stepson Lenard (Amanda); and four precious grandchildren: Keegan, Dominick, Cassie and James; his loving sister Dawn Albert (Marc); nephews: Michael and Jamie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was an employee of Trenton Works until he had to retire due to health issues. Brian will always be remembered for his heart of gold and for his passion of the open road and his motorcycle. He will certainly be missed by all his closest friends as he loved them all dearly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an amazing pastel/oil artist and had a great love of animals. Brian also leaves behind his best friend and companion “Luke” (a husky mix). Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, December 22 at the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, December 23, at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton with Father Gary MacPherson officiating.
