Passed peacefully away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at the Health Science Centre, Margaret Hawco, aged 87 years of Chapel’s Cove. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Jane Doyle, brothers: Tom and Gus, sister, Josephine Kennedy. Left with wonderful memories are Phonse, her loving and devoted husband of 60 years. Her children: Jim (Pam), Leo (Lorna), Regina, Anne, Robert, Brian (Tarin), Bernadine (Stewart), her grandchildren: Pamela, James, Matthew, Michael, Jane, Janet, Terry, Adrian, Vickie, Bobby, Jesse, Thomas, Kimberly and Katheryn, great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Dylan, Haley and Jordan, sisters: Rita Furlong, Pat Curran, Pauline Hickey, brother Len Doyle (Angela), sisters-in-law, Joan Doyle, Pauline Hawco and numerous loving nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 with Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
