Dickie, Stratton James - 90, North River and formerly of Bible Hill, passed away November 16, 2009 in North River. Born in Onslow, he was a son of the late Walter and Hilda (Richards) Dickie. Stratton worked at Fundy Jersey Farm and Nova Scotia Agriculture College for many years. He is survived by daughter, Cindy (Paul) Adshade, Truro; sister, Estelle Rector, Truro; brothers, Gordon (Frances), Onslow; Carl (Vera) Truro; Vaughan (Brenda), Peter (Ann), both of Onslow; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Doreen Hunter; brothers, Douglas and Keith. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 2:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral. Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Gerald Kerr officiating.
