KIERSTEAD, KENNETH W. “BILL” - Bill Kierstead, husband of the late Violet (Wilson) Kierstead passed away on December 22, 2011 at the Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing, after a short stay. Bill was born on September 26, 1924. Son of the late William and Helen (Brown) Kierstead. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, David; daughter, Elaine; sister, Dorothy Miller and brother, Donald Kierstead. Bill leaves many friends and family behind who will miss him. He is survived by two nephews, Gary (Yolande) and Brian; niece, Brenda (Bill); daughter-in-law, Helen; brother-in-law, Ronald Miller and great nieces and nephews.
Resting at Atlantic Funeral Home, “Dartmouth Chapel”, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from Atlantic Funeral Home, “Dartmouth Chapel”.
