Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, Melva Walsh, aged 70 years. Predeceased by her husband Christopher Walsh, mother Alfreda Crocker (nee Legrow), father Frederick Crocker, as well as her brothers and sister. Forever loved and missed by her loving son Wayne Harkless, and his wife Christine and their children Patrick, Brittany, Kevin, and Megan; granddaughter Victoria; sister Elizabeth Breon, and the Walsh Family; six stepchildren and their spouses; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Wednesday, December 21, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and on Thursday, December 22, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Bauline United Church, on Friday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Bauline United Cemetery.
