Peacefully and with family at her side at the age of 92, Mary Viola Deagle Keller made her journey to be with God on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Born on April 23, 1917, she was the daughter of William and Mildred “Millie” Deagle of Miminegash, P.E.I. She was a Loved Mother, Grandmother to five generations, a “Special Grandmama” and a friend to all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband Louis P. Keller (receiver of the Purple Heart WW1) and Grandson Jeffery Welling. Survived by her three children: Betty Lou Welling (Dawsonville, Georgia), Arlene Sutton (Stanley) Darlington, South Carolina and Joseph Keller (Dawsonville, Georgia). Loving Grandchildren: David Welling (Dawsonville Georgia), John Welling (Fredricton, New Brunswick), Mary-Lou Welling (Shediac Cape, New Brunswick), Cindy Welling (Salisbury, New Brunswick), Kelly Welling (Anne) (Dawsonville Georgia) and Michelle Chester (Dawsonville Georgia). Several family and friends from Miminegash, P.E.I. and New Brunswick areas. Interment will take place in Cypress Hills National Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, Wednesday November 18th, 2009.
