MEANEY, Shirley A. – Passed peacefully away in her 60th year at the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre on December 23rd, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years Ron; parents: Fred and Alice; brothers: Freddie and Tommy. Leaving to mourn daughter Frances; son Ronnie (Leslie); granddaughters: Shaye and Shelby; sister Mary (Ken); brothers: Rick (Rosemary), Stan (Roz), Johnny (Justina) and David (Cathy); brothers-in-law: Jim (Eileen), Dennis (Sandra); sisters-in-law: Gert (Mike) and Josephine. Also very dear friend Carmel Butt. She will also be missed by a large circle of loving family and friends. A special thank you to everyone for their support during her illness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay on Monday, December 26th and Tuesday, December 27th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, December 28th from St. Nicholas’ Church at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
