Passed away, suddenly, at CWJM Hospital, Labrador City, on November 16, 2009, Thomas A. White, age 69 years. Predeceased by father & mother John & Anna Marie White; brothers Michael & Martin; sisters Margaret Glynn & Clare Wall; brother-in-law Charlie Crane and Aloysius Glynn. Left to mourn his wife & best friend of 38 years, Regina; sons Rodney, Barry, daughters Tina (Toby) Wake, Lisa (Randy) Applin. Grandpa to four precious grandchildren, Matthew, Megan and Andrew White and Kyle Applin. Also left to mourn, brothers George (Grace), John (Emma); sisters Nellie (Patrick) McGrath, Carmel Crane, Barbara (Harry) Chafe, Catherine (Kevin) Hayward, Marcella (Michael) O’Driscoll, sister-in-law Gertrude White, Brother-in-law Michael Burke (Jessie) and sister-in-law Barbara O’Reilly (Randall). Also, left to mourn, a large number of nieces and nephews. After graduating high school, Thomas joined the Armed Forces where he served for five years. He then moved himself and his family to Labrador City some 38 years ago working various positions until accepting a management position with Shell Bulk Yard (Innotech Aviation) from where he retired four years ago. Visitation will take place at Penney’s Funeral Home 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 18th; Funeral service to take place 11a.m. Thursday, November 19th at the Basilica of our Lady, Labrador City.
