LeBlanc, James Albert (Jim)
66, passed away at his home in Dartmouth with his loving and devoted wife Sherry and loving stepson Robert by his side on November 15, 2009. Jim was the son of the late Albert and Faye (Hurley) LeBlanc, Amherst. Jim was a beautiful person and a fine gentleman, as well as a gentle man with a kind, loving and caring heart and always had a hug for all. He is survived by his wife and best friend Sherry Ryan and his dearly loved stepson Robert Ryan, his loving sisters Mona, Faye and Phyllis (Cyril), Amherst and dear brothers Dave/Mitch (Karen), Malagash; Darrel (Jennifer), Kingston; Gary, Amherst; special bother-in-law Frank Breau, Amherst; and his Aunt Mona, Ontario. He is also survived by his daughter Daphnee, son Jamie and grandsons Curtis and Dakota, whom he loved dearly, and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his best “bud†of 34 years, Fred Dauphinee, his Tim’s buddy and friend John McDonald, his “newf†buddy and friend John Shannahan, his highly valued friend Rick Simpson and countless other dear friends including his adopted parents Mr. and Mrs. Pushie. He was a friend of Bill W. and he established many fond friendships in those rooms. Our cherished memories of Jim will be with us forever and his smile and the beautiful light he emitted will shine brightly always, and he will again light our way many times just as he did in the past. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Tessy and brother Pat. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home and there will be no visitation or service as per Jim’s wishes. In lieu of donations, Jim has requested that everyone tell someone you love them and give a loved one or stranger a hug, or perform a kind gesture today and everyday. Jim is now safely home and he will be dancing among the stars, so be sure to blow a kiss to the brightest star in the sky each night…to Jim.
I will forever miss his daily “I love you and I need a hugâ€â€¦and “I will always love you and miss your hugs as well, my sweet oneâ€. Sincere thanks to Susan Perrott, Palliative Care and the VON for their excellent care and compassion and many thanks to his dear friends of many years Ann Campbell and Charlie Chafe for their endless love and assistance.
