At the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 of Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Mellish (nee Weatherbie), Charlottetown, age 86 years. Dear mother of Carl B. (Nancy), Barry J. (Sandra), Margie Tesselaar (Gary), and Elizabeth McCarville (Michael). Lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Hettie Mae Burton (Norman), Eric Weatherbie (Sadie) and Arthur Weatherbie (Ferna). Special friend of Jim and Daphne Hodge. Predeceased by her husband Douglas C. Mellish, by her son Lincoln (Debbie), by her grandson W. O. Frank R. Mellish, by her parents Benjamin and Margaret (Nicholson) Weatherbie, by her sister E. Eileen Thompson and by her brother Lincoln Weatherbie. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday from Park Royal United Church at 2 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
