Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, Fred Northcott of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by first wife Margaret and infant daughter. Leaving to mourn wife Jennie; daughter Beatrice (Cecil) Oates, Carbonear, son Albert (Mary), Dunville; step-sons: Berkley (Effie) LeGrow, Mount Pearl and Graham LeGrow, Broad Cove; ten grandchildren: Tracy, Alden, Tina, Vanessa, Warren, Glorina, Wynette, Jenelle, Tammy and Neil; ten great-grandchildren, especially poppy Fred’s little buddy Ryan, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral services to take place on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Band, Carbonear.
