It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Thomas Rose announce his passing on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marion (nee Hickey); son Kenneth; grandchildren: Ashton Pennell, Alberta and Josephine Hall, Pasadena; brothers: Robert (Brenda) Rose, St. Jude’s and Garfield (Mary) Framp, Sandyville; mother-in-law Verna Hickey; sister-in-law Susan (Michael) Young; brother-in-law Ted (Bev) Hickey all of Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Max and Nellie Rose. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, December 28 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with the funeral service to be held at 8:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit.
