Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John’s on Thursday, Nov. 19th, Stanley George of Winterton, age 69 years. Predeceased by father Arthur. Leaving to mourn wife of 46 years Juanita, Winterton; two daughters: Bonnie (Noel McLeod) St. John’s, Wanda (Bruce Adams), Corner Brook; two sons: Derrick (Coleen), Winterton, Kenny (Paula), Old Perlican; ten grandchildren; mother Stella George, Winterton; two brothers: Wilfred (Barbara) St. John’s, Newman (Jean) Stephenville, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Friday 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday at 3 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Winterton. Interment to follow in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Winterton.
