With the heaviest of hearts and the deepest of sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Bren Hogan, aged 72 years. Bren passed away at home in the presence of his family, on November 17, 2009. Predeceased by his parents, Don and Mary Hogan; brothers: Pat (Hazel), Frank (Peg), Gerald, Kevin, Ed, Paul, Don (Jean), Jack (Marjorie) and Jim (who also passed away November 17, 2009); sisters: Rita and Marge (Andy Richards); brother-in-law, Ray Randell (Sandra) and sister-in-law, Joyce Blanchard. Leaving to mourn his constant companion and loving wife of 46 years, Geraldine (Gerri); sons: Blair (Kelly), Barry (Gina), Brian-BJ (Tracy); daughter, MaryLou (Preston Groves); and grand-children, Dakota (Poppy\'s girl), Cody, Alisha, Tiffany, Trinity, and Ty. Also leaving to mourn, sister: Agnes Trainor; sisters-in-law: Doreen Hogan, Dulcie Hogan, Mary Hogan, and Doreen Goldsworthy (Sterling); brothers-in-law: Eliol Randell (Betty), Churchill Randell (Olga) and Ted Blanchard, and a large number of nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at Christ Church, Port Rexton. Visitation Thursday: 7 to 9 p.m., Friday: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
