We, the family of the late Sarah "Sadie" Keough whose funeral was held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on November 26, 2011, would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to our family and many friends for their kindness shown to us during the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral service. It was a wonderful tribute to her life. Our thanks to celebrant, Father Duaine Devereaux for his special celebration of Mom's life and words of comfort. Thank you to the CWL for the Honor Guard, the funeral choir for the beautiful hymns, Winnie and Pat Chafe for their touching music, the Eucharistic ministers and alter servers. Many thanks to the Lazarus committee for the beautiful lunch they provided. Thank you to pallbearers-Sadie's grandchildren, Lynne MacKay, Alana Moore, Brian Tierney, Glenn MacKenzie, Allan MacKenzie, Jenna Johnston, Matthew Spencer and Annabel Hirst. Thank you to all the readers, Jenna Johnston, Alyssa Moore, Brian Tierney and Allan MacKenzie. Thank you to Lynne MacKay, Alana Moore and Glenn MacKenzie who presented the Offertory Gifts. Grammie was so proud of all of you. A special thank you to Dr. Peter Jackson for his amazing dedication and care over the years. Special thanks to the wonderful care provided by the VON, and to Agnes Sweeney, her care giver for the past year. Our gratitude and appreciation is extended to the Palliative Care Team for the many special visits at home and the marvelous care, support, and compassion shown to Mom on 4D and the An Cala Palliative Care Unit. Thank you to Bill Curry and the staff of Curry's Funeral Home for their guidance and professional service. Finally, thank you to all who sent mass and sympathy cards, donations to Palliative Care, VON, Cancer Centre Patient Care Fund, Church Building funds and other charities in Mom's memory. Thank you to those who sent food, made phone calls to our homes, travelled miles to be with us, sent online condolences and remembered us in their prayers. We will forever remember your kindness.
