It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Verge announce his passing on Thursday, November 19th, 2009 at Bonne Bay Health Centre in his 75th year. He will be sadly missed by his partner of 31 years Mona. Three daughters Rhonda (Frank), Madeline (Derm), and Irene (Calvin), son Jeff (Shirley), grandchildren Sheldon, Cory, Nikita, Joshua, Elaine, Jeffrey, Dain, Michael, Desirre, five great-grandchildren, one brother Nick (Hazel), two sisters Regina and Elaina as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Dorothy Verge, son-in-law Garrett Blanchard, brothers-in-law Enos Payne and Alex Decker. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Parsons Pond today, Saturday from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jean Brenton officiating.
