The death occurred suddenly in Windsor, Ontario, on Thursday, November 19, 2009, after a brief illness of Emery Bruce, formerly of Red Point, age 78 years.
He leaves to mourn his brothers, Norman (Thelma, nee Dixon), Kermit (Ruby, nee Dixon) and Merton (Betty, nee Ching); and sisters, Elma Dingwell, Elva Robertson and Sylvia MacLean. Predeceased by his parents, Ray and Ida Bruce; sister, Laura MacGregor; and brothers-in-law, Stanley Dingwell, Boswell Robertson, Callum MacLean and Kenneth MacGregor. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation on Friday, November 27, 2009, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Saturday afternoon, November 28, 2009, at the Kingsboro Baptist Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
If so desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kinsboro Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
