Passed peacefully away on November 19, 2009 at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre, Elaine House in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Bill, son Jim, sister Dorothy LeGrow and daughters-in-law Ruby and Isobel. Fondly remembered by son Hubert and wife Dianne; daughters: Jo-Ann Baggs and husband Tony; Janet Bradley and husband David; sister Joan Carnell; brother Fred Milley; grandchildren: Jeff and Katie Baggs, Janice, Jim and Jennifer House, Pauline, Bill, Sandy, Ray and Geoff House; eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Elaine will be remembered as a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi and graduate of the Grace Hospital Nursing Class of 1942. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of Meadow Creek. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
