With heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of our beloved mother Anastasia McNamara (Boyd).
She was the daughter of the late John T. (Tupper) and Willemina Boyd.
Anastasia loved to play bingo, play cards, do crafts and also loved to cook for her family.
She survived by her daughters, Bev (Don) Robin, Clara (Dick) Dearing, Brenda (Rick) Evans, Heather (John) Greenan, Dale (Kevin) Ezekiel, Carrol (Blake) Canavan, Wendy (Rick) Ezekiel; sons, Butch (Lynda) McNamara, Donnie (Tammy) McNamara; sister, Pearl, Tina, Betty (James) Steward, Lorraine (John) Burton; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John William, brothers, Dan, Rannie, sisters, Marie, Heneritta and Mary, three infant sons, daughters, Molly (Dwight) Fraser, Marie (Billy) MacDonald, son, Frankie, and grandson, Bernie.
Visitation for the late Anastasia McNamara will be held in Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Pius Church with Rev. Thomas John officiating. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Honorable mention to the staff at the Northside Community Guest Home whom treated our mother like their very own Nanny Mac.
