NEW GLASGOW –  Wesley “Gregory” White, 38, of Mountain Road, New Glasgow, passed away suddenly on November 20th, 2009.
Born in New Glasgow on September 26th, 1971, he was the son of Patricia “Pat” White and the late Wesley White of MacLellan’s Brook.
A graduate of East Pictou Rural High, he played hockey throughout school. He attended Centennial College in Ontario and graduated with his Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certificate. He was employed with E&R Langille Contracting as an Equipment Operator. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed many trips to “Dunwurkin” Lawlors Lake with his friends and family.
He was always a proud father of all three of his beautiful children and most recently enjoyed coaching Carter and Brady in hockey and watching Paige grow into a beautiful young lady.
He is survived by his wife; Patti (McCulloch) White; children; Paige, Carter and Brady at home; sister, Jacquie (Shane) MacIvor, Merigomish; brother, Jeff (Kim Crosby), MacPherson’s Mills; half-sister, Penny Singer (Timmy), Noel; brother-in-law, Cecil (Lori) McCulloch; sister-in-law, Angela McCulloch (Tom Bowden), nieces: Sylvia, Morgan, Cassidy and Ada; nephews, TJ, Kyler, Tanner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law; Helen and Hal McCulloch.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; Eugene and Dorcas White of Noel Road, Hants County and maternal grandparents; Donald and Ada Beckman of Tenecape, Hants County, also by brother-in-law, Hal McCulloch.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday from the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
