Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, January 2nd, 201, James Edward Kean, age 69 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Joan Kean, nephews: John Kean and Kenneth Miller. Leaving to mourn his daughter Joan (Russ Chafe) and her mother Bernadette; three brothers: Eric (Barb), Brendan (Theresa) and Brian (Marie); two sisters: Helen Miller and Linda Hawco (Tony). Also Leaving to mourn Wendy Lupton (Brett), Karen Vollmer (David) and Josh, Nicola, Willem and Vanessa; as well as other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Thursday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 6th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
