It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Young announce his passing at The Health Science Complex in St. John’s NL, on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories 1 daughter Rose-Marie Butt of Cormack, 2 grandsons: Joseph and Joshua; mother, Kathleen Prosper, three sisters: Vera (Terry) Hillyard of Corner Brook, Eileen (Charlie) Swinamer of Point au Mal and Marie (Dave) Moyles of Corner Brook; one brother Edward (Debbie) Young of Nova Scotia and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father Roy Young. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday January 5, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 10 a.m.–12 noon. Funeral Service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday January 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Major Frank Johnson officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
